Jennifer, would also try sharing your open position to the Job Board on CareQuorum.com, a free community-based resource platform for mental health support professionals. By posting the job there, it can easily be shared across a national platform, reaching potential candidates both in and outside of MN.

🌟 Meet Emily, a passionate science teacher who embarked on a transformative Summer Project journey with us!🗨️ "I would 100% recommend Summer Projects. I gained more than I thought I would. I found it really interesting," she shares.📚 Emily dove into researching Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) policies and parental engagement strategies, contributing to improvements in schools. "Our work has made it easier for schools to quickly find gaps and make changes that will massively improve their own policies and practices," she reflects.🗨️ "Sometimes schools can feel pretty isolated. Our work highlighted how crucial the connection between head teachers, staff, and other schools is."Beyond policy impact, Emily discovered ways to engage with parents proactively, "I've established things I can do as a classroom teacher to better support my pupils."⚡ Ready to explore, learn, and make a difference in your teaching career? I believe being able to put a face to a name is especially important with online learning. Yes, being able to see a professor is great when taking online classes, but it's just as necessary for students to see the people who support them. That's why I love making these videos. It lets the student know there is a real person on the other side of the phone call or email when they're receiving support. It also helps build connections which I think are equally as valuable. #highereducation #studentsuccess #onlinelearning #PBSC

Life update: I am midway through my first semester of my Masters of Public Health [MPH] program, and I am thoroughly enjoying all of the content I am learning thus far! I look forward to finding an internship site to complete my experience in the summer months 👏🏻---Now ... thoughts with Lauren: In my social and behavioral sciences course, we were tasked with writing a paper regarding a public health issue that is worsening in our country. I chose to write about homicide rates. More specifically, I researched the social determinants of health and how they impact homicide rates, specifically in Black youth and adolescents in our country. I found myself getting emotional, specifically angry, as I wrote this paper. Economic stability and a sense of community play such LARGE roles in any public health issue. Researching how these determinants of health impact youth was alarming. Since COVID-19, folks have been disproportionately impacted by lay-offs, evictions, violence, lack of social support, and a lack of social/emotional learning. How can we improve these outcomes? This is what I'll be brainstorming and researching in my next assignment. All in all, writing this paper motivated me to be even more involved in advocacy and to communicate with our legislators, ESPECIALLY at the municipal level. Send those emails, sign the petitions, and call your representatives. That is all 👋🏻 I was thinking about posting my entire paper; anyone interested in reading it? Let me know!

🦟 If you think you’re too small to make a difference you’ve never slept with a mosquito in your sleeping bag’ - said many years ago by Anita Roddick.✔️ could also have been said by my sister Jane.We grew up on a small Island 🇮🇲 yet never believed that should limit what we could do, be or achieve in the world.💫 Jane is passionate about causes she believes in & I was delighted to read of the latest ground breaking work as Collaboration lead at Child Mind Institute & it’s new Youth Mental Health Academy in California which she describes as : ‘welcoming and engaging some of the smartest and most diverse groups of kids I have ever had the pleasure to teach to. Every color of the rainbow, every gender possibility and neurodiversity writ large - every one their own kind of brilliant, now putting their heads together to come up with ways to change the world. Growing to over a thousand next year - I can't wait to see what they are all doing 5 yrs from now!’😌 Great that she is in a place where her passion for developing young people, her neuroscience skills & her strong will to drive change & create opportunity & a new future, overlap.❓What could it look like for you to do a role where you top skills, beliefs & values overlap ? 🙌🏻 More importantly what could it feel like ? #Future #Service #Hope #Contribution
