Lacey, thanks for sharing the news about the openings at Maxim Health. You might want to consider introducing your therapists who are looking for clients to CareQuorum.com. It's a fantastic, free community-based platform tailored for mental health professionals. It makes sharing availability and connecting with potential referrals through colleagues a breeze.

The Smart City Data Airport - 3 if by Land – 1 if by Sea – PART 4 My coworkers were requested to contact San Antonio to "see what they could find out" during a #workinjury investigation - that unfortunately turned into #vetting without independent third party. Across multiple sites - new investigations each time of over-compensation of body - knee - intestine - hip. In total - MANY involved - including all external agency stakeholders. With #acousticshock noticed from HIGH DECIBEL environments causing harsh neck spasm - living community near freeway, car commute and workplace - I was unfortunately tagged as having #palsy AND #bipolardisorder AND #paranoidschizophrenia due to word-of-mouth opinion - without claim evidence. Increasing medical costs and 5 #behavioralhealth evaluations later - with intent to consolidate into one hospital system - including a paid onsite evaluation - over a week in duration due to holiday. NONE could justify #bipolardisorder NOR #paranoidschizophrenia - with extended evaluation - I was considered to be a positive presence amongst what appeared to be a young adult audience. However #racialtensions due to #policedepartment affiliations were of significant CONCERN to two of us. Regarding San Antonio observations - there's NO justification for admittance anywhere LIKELY to cause significant #mentalanguish or #physicalharm - such as additional lameness – especially with zero background of "drug abuse". We simply had BAD behavior in San Antonio regarding women 2013-2014 - due to everyone's average earnings being 45 % less than the rest of Texas - with our new city manager (from Phoenix) of #europeanwhiteheritage earning upwards into 400K – and San Antonio Police IN PROTEST.I was considered to be a "relative of hers". I DO RECALL off-use coding of a #psychotropic 3 years prior - an irresponsible experiment simply for #insomnia with surgical #pain. NO history of significant evidence of surgical #halfopiod use. Within my #apartmentcomplex - next door to #PREK4SA – I observed QUESTIONABLE "observers" of kids of #militarydisplaced #specialneeds #reducedcapacity and those drawing within educational #lotto at the time. They were viewed by the school as "predatory". There were also valid concerns during this time frame - after argument by a couple "in the parking lot" - a "girl" had gone missing.Hopefully "crazed ornithologists" with #binoculars - such as myself - are no longer needed. Please keep in mind "seasonal investigations" of specific kids happen for a reason - as with adults - during #religiousobservance, #holiday, insurance #eventanniversary - due to #911terroristattacks #nationaldisaster #pandemic, #occupyingforce concerns, #jointbaseoperations and or #veterinary investigations - SOME MAY BE VIRTUAL. Data may be easier to acquire than we realize - "predatory" personas CAN show up.(CONTINUED)Image copyright Zimbio - 07/05/2013.

Someone asked me what we look for when we’re hiring for our clinical team. I said this: Self Space therapists are grounded, therapeutically agile and deeply compassionate. Human first, therapists second — they’re on a level with clients, not a pedestal. Each of them bring a wealth of lived experiences that inform their practice and allow them to support people from a place of knowing, not just from their training (although they have that too). As therapists, they have an incredibly privileged insight into the paradoxes of human nature. They make weekly journeys to the greatest depths of human trauma: death, infertility, infidelity and depression, as well as the seemingly smaller moments of pain: a crush we might have on another that goes unnoticed, or feelings of jealousy and resentment towards a close friend. They have acclimatised themselves to these things not just by reading books and studying, but by knowing their own nature and confronting the complicated, painful and embarrassing aspects of themselves that are collectively relegated into a murky puddle of shame within our culture.Because of this, you can share anything and everything with them - and they will meet it with curiosity, compassion and care.—I committed to posting only about therapy for a week, help me write tomorrow’s final post. Any questions about therapy? Let me know…#therapy #mentalhealth #startup

To the Unsung Heroes: Behavioral Health Admissions Teams As the very first faces—or voices—people encounter on their journey to recovery, you hold a unique position of influence. You're not just "converting leads"; you’re interacting with hurting people at their most vulnerable. And while metrics and conversion rates paint one picture, they fail to capture that every conversation you have has a tremendous impact.🎯 Beyond Conversion Rates:Yes, from a business standpoint, conversion is key. However, don't lose sight of the human element in what you do. Remember, every time you engage with someone, you're given a privileged opportunity to affect their journey—regardless of whether they ultimately choose your facility.🤝 The Power of Empathy:Your ability to provide an empathetic ear often serves as their first exposure to the compassionate care that awaits them. This is immeasurable. One empathetic conversation could very well be the nudge they need to take the next step in the right direction—wherever that may be.🌱 Planting Seeds for the Future:While you may not always witness the fruits of your labor, understand that your interactions are often the planted seeds of change. It may not result in an admission today, but it might catalyze a commitment to recovery tomorrow.🌈 Impact over Metrics:We can't always quantify human emotions or gauge the depth of our impact through numbers. Know that your role—your human touch—has ripple effects far beyond what can be captured in spreadsheets.Admissions teams, you’re doing more than filling beds—you're filling hearts with hope and minds with possibilities of a brighter future. Even if you don’t see immediate results, you're making a difference. You're part of a chain of positive interventions that contribute to long-lasting change. Here’s to your unseen but deeply felt impact in the lives of those teetering on the edges of decision. I am proud of you. I see you. You are the unsung heroes, and your role is more impactful than you may ever know. 🌺#MentalHealthMatters #AdmissionsImpact #MoreThanNumbers #FirstStepToRecovery

We love LifeStance Health 💙 🧠 As a #BehavioralHealth optimization partner I work with Behavioral Health facilities all over the country, including #virtualproviders and #digitalplatformsHowever, I know from #PERSONALexperience, and I'll share transparently, everyone in my family sees a counselor. We have all experienced a great deal of #trauma over the last few years (not even including the pandemic) and we work individually and together to assure our #mentalwellness including: my husband, my 17 year old son, and my 15 year old daughter! 👨👩👦👦 🎯 Lifestance has always been transparent, upfront on costs, and accesible to providers!📊 We actually utilized another digital platform, a competitor of Lifestance, recently, to explore options. *It's important to shop providers and programs to indentify what is most successful and beneficial to your wellness...The new digital paltofrm we picked was awesome too - our son loved it and saw great benefits. However, through a 15 week program we were NEVER connected with a psychiatric provider! An amazing counselor, yes, but not the Psychiatric provider we were told we'd be seeing. After our son had completed the program, in a post treatment survey I mentioned that we were never connected with a provider and although they apologized they admitted that they didn't have any psychiatric providers in their network!!!They did refer us out to a provider down the street, which is fine, the other, local provider is great, but we chose (and paid for) the (comprehensive) digital program, under the understanding that Psychiatric evaluation was apart of the program. My point in many ways is two-fold: What is advertised isn't always real - check in on what you're investing in.AND There is a DIRE #SHORTAGE of #mentalhealth practitioners. #Psychiatry #Psychiatrist #PsychiatricNursePractitioners #PsychNP #BehavorialHealthcareProviderShortage #PhysicianShortage #ProviderShortage #RecruitmentPartner
