Labor and Workforce Optimization Analyst
Location: Quorum Health Corporate Office - Brentwood, TN
General Summary: This role will oversee the labor budgeting, productivity, and benchmarking activities of Quorum Health and will be responsible for the daily system administration and reporting from the labor productivity system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and implements the strategic planning for labor and productivity management for the company, sets specific productivity goals to be accomplished, and directs the activities of the company aimed toward meeting those strategic goals
Identifies productivity opportunities and communicates recommended solutions appropriately with facility and division leadership
Responsible for reviewing and reporting daily/monthly productivity metrics and working with hospitals and divisions to identify opportunities and ensure staffing levels are appropriate with volumes
Presents updates at monthly operating review meetings to senior management as it relates to productivity management initiatives and progress
Prepare monthly productivity reports used in hospital monthly operations reviews and actively participate in these reviews
Maintain Kronos daily productivity tool
Provide productivity system training to hospital teams and directors
Develop and maintain other adhoc productivity reporting, as needed
Responsible for implementing productivity system for any new acquisitions
Monitor, approve and review hospital agency cost spend
Participate in hospital labor management action team meetings
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Financial and accounting literacy
Financial analytics and insights
Strong Excel experience required to include - ability to create, maintain and incorporate simple functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to facilitate program maintenance and advocate for healthy change
Work Experience, Education and Certifications:
5+ years related experience in a Healthcare and or Hospital environment
Experience with the UltiPro Analytics and Productivity module is preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
Kronos system experience preferred
Travel Requirements:
Travel is infrequent
